Everything on this site is either a figure out of our product data or a sentence somebody wrote and put their name behind. This page says which is which.

Where the numbers come from

Piece counts, diameters, capacities and prices come from our catalogue and are rebuilt from it every time the site is built. Nobody types a price into a paragraph by hand. Where a sentence does the arithmetic — the cost of one plate out of a set of twelve — the two numbers behind it are printed on the same page, so you can check the division yourself.

What we will not print about ourselves

No award badges, no test-lab numbers, no customer counts, no founding story with a year we cannot show you. The care claims on this site are the ones printed on the pack, attributed as such. The standards behind lead and cadmium in tableware are public, and we link to the bodies that set them rather than paraphrasing them into a promise.

Quotations from buyers

The comments on this site are real, they are about the pieces they sit beside, and they are printed as they came. We do not quote a review that makes a safety promise on our behalf, and we do not quote one whose subject argues with the piece it is attached to.

When we get it wrong

A capacity that argues with the box, a photograph showing the wrong glaze, a sentence that reads as a promise: table@myfamiware.com, with the page you found it on. It gets fixed on the next update, and we say what changed.
