Famiware mugs and cups

Eleven to fourteen ounces for a mug, three for an espresso cup, twenty for the ones with a lid. A mug is bought by volume and sold by photograph, so the capacity sits on every card here.

Famiware mugs: what people ask

What people ask before a mug set turns into a box on the doorstep.

How much does a Famiware mug actually hold?

Between 11 and 14 oz across the shelf, and the difference matters more than it sounds. A 12 oz mug filled from a machine leaves no room for cream; a 13 oz one does, and a buyer here picked hers for exactly that reason.

The larger 20 oz mugs come with a lid and are a different object — soup and long working mornings rather than a cup of coffee.

Are Famiware espresso cups sold with saucers?

Yes, the 3 to 3.34 oz espresso cups come in sets of four with their saucers. They stack, but the saucers are the fragile part of any espresso set and they are the piece that meets a hard sink first.

Will a Famiware mug tip over on a desk?

The bases here are flat rather than tapered, which is the detail a buyer singled out: a flat foot takes a knock without going over. It is also the reason the mug sits noisily on a wooden desk unless you put something under it.
