Glacier 8.7" Large Pasta Bowls Set of 4: the description
The weight of one bowl in your hand tells you it is dense. That density is a consequence of stoneware fired until the body vitrifies. The bowl does not absorb moisture, and it sits solid on the table. When you stir a thick sauce, the bowl does not skid. Set it down, and it lands with a low, solid sound.
Each bowl holds 34 ounces, enough for a full portion of pasta or a hearty soup. The 8.7-inch width and low sides are comfortable for eating, and the bowl’s generous size leaves room for a salad on the side. Four bowls serve a table of four. You can microwave leftovers in it and wash the bowl in the dishwasher.
