Jupiter 30 OZ Large Salad Bowls Set of 4: the description
The glaze gathers dark in the well and lightens at the rim, where the clay shows through as a pale line. The speckle is fine and even, iron from the body burning through the surface. The bowl is low and wide, a shape that lets you toss greens without spilling.
Stoneware is dense and heavy. A full bowl needs two hands. A knock against the faucet or a stacked bowl set down too hard will leave a pale nick. The foot ring marks the table if you slide it. Keep the stack to two bowls. The pack says microwave and dishwasher safe, but not oven or freezer.
