This 16-piece set serves four, with dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls in Mercury's matte grey. The glaze is flat and soft, unlike the glossier finishes in other collections. Under table light, it stays quiet, letting the food hold the attention. The stoneware body is dense and heavy, fired until it rings. The foot ring is unglazed, so it grips the table and releases cleanly from the kiln.

Stacking is stable at two high, the bare ring marking the plate beneath. The matte surface feels dry and warm, and the glaze pools deeper in the well, thinning at the rim to a paler edge. This is stoneware for everyday use, heavy in the hand and quiet on the table.
