Mercury Coffee Mugs 13 oz, set of 6: the description
Compared with the larger mugs in the Mercury line, this one is the one you reach for on a Tuesday. 13 oz is a proper coffee and a proper tea, and six of them set a full table without anyone waiting for a second cup. It is a small mug, but not a dainty one. It sits heavy in the hand.
The pack says it is dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe, so it will take the morning routine: coffee reheated mid-morning, a rinse, a seat on the rack. What it does badly is knock into things. Stoneware chips at the rim, and the chip shows pale clay. That is the trade for a mug that sits solid in the hand and does not absorb yesterday's coffee.
