These are the largest bowls in the Milkyway pasta line. At 33 oz, each one holds a full dinner portion of spaghetti or a generous side salad for two. The set bundles four of those bowls with six dipping bowls, enough to set four places with extra sauces on the table.

The trade-off is weight. A bowl this size in dense stoneware is heavy in the hand, and four on the table make a solid presence. They stack two high, but the unglazed foot ring will mark the bowl below. Stoneware chips at the rim with a knock, and a pale scar is the honest cost of a hard surface.
