Milkyway Coffee Mugs of 6: the description
Six mugs stack two high on a shelf; the foot ring leaves a faint mark on the glaze below, so that is the limit. They come down for coffee, tea, whatever you drink hot, and the shape holds a proper mugful, not a thimble. Morning and evening, set down on wood or stone.
Between two mugs from the same set, the glaze shifts. One carries a deeper blue swirl near the base, the other shows more pale clay at the rim. If one breaks, the replacement will sit slightly different in color. That is the nature of reactive glaze, and it is not a flaw.
