Nature Pasta Bowls Set of 4: the description
Pick one up and it sits heavier than you expect. That weight is the stoneware itself — fired dense, the body vitrified so it does not absorb a drop. The bowl does not lift off the table when you pull at a serving spoon. It stays put, and that solid base is what makes a wide, shallow bowl work for a weeknight pasta or a Sunday salad.
At 8.5 inches across, these bowls are low and wide — the shape that holds a tangle of spaghetti without spilling sauce over the rim. Four bowls serve four people. They stack, but keep the stack to two; the unglazed foot ring marks the bowl below, and stoneware chips at the rim if you knock it.
