Famiware Serving Platters Set of 3 Sizes

Three nesting platters come in the box, each a different size for a different dish. The smallest holds a loaf of bread or a handful of lemons. The middle one takes a roast chicken. The largest carries a whole fish or a heap of roasted vegetables. All are stoneware, heavy enough to sit solid on a table without sliding.

The set comes in the same range of glaze colors as our dinner plates, so it is easy to match. The platters go from the microwave to the table and then straight into the dishwasher. They are hard-fired stoneware, which means the rim will chip if knocked hard against a sink edge. That pale line of clay is the only sign of wear, and it does not spread. The set nests for compact storage.
