The box holds six bowls, each 4 oz. They are for the small things you set beside a plate: a dip, a spoon of sauce, a pinch of salt. Four of them can go around a dinner table and two can stay by the stove, or all six go out when the table is long.

The unglazed foot grips the table, and it will mark a glazed bowl stacked beneath it, so keep the stack to two. Stoneware does chip at the rim, and thermal shock, not washing, is what cracks a piece through the body. The pack says dishwasher and microwave safe, so washing is the easy part. A sudden change in temperature is the one thing to spare these.
