Compared with a starter set that covers only a single plate and bowl per person, this sixteen-piece service doubles the pieces. You get a dinner plate and a salad plate for every seat, plus two bowls each, one for soup or cereal and one for fruit or a side. That extra bowl means the table feels set for a meal, not just a snack.

Sixteen pieces for four places works out to four per person. The box holds dinner plates and salad plates, two bowls of the same size for each setting. So everyone gets a proper plate stack and a bowl for both the hot course and something cold or dry. No mixing and matching from different boxes.
