The Mercury 24-piece set serves eight. It is the same matte light grey glaze that runs across the smaller service, now covering plates and bowls for the full table. The glaze is dry to the touch, evenly matte, and the dense stoneware body sits solid in the hand.

The matte finish shows water spots less than a gloss glaze. The pack says dishwasher and microwave safe, and the stoneware heats quickly. The unglazed foot ring grips a tablecloth but can mark a plate stacked under it. Two high stacks well; more than that risks scratches from the foot ring.
