The glaze on these Nebula pieces gathers darker where it settles into the well of each plate and bowl. At the rim, the clay shows through paler. Each mug holds a full 12 ounces, and the set includes plates, bowls, and mugs for four.

Stoneware has weight. A plate set down on a wooden table makes a solid sound. The mugs fit a hand well, but the material is brittle at the edge. A knock can chip the rim, exposing the pale clay underneath. They hold heat well, keep coffee warm through a slow morning.
