8.25 inches across, and shallow enough to toss pasta without sending sauce over the rim. That width makes it a dinner bowl, not a soup bowl. A portion of bucatini or a grain bowl sits in it without crowding. It is heavy in the hand, so it stays put on the table. Four bowls in the box, enough for a table of four.

The Nebulas Blue glaze varies noticeably from bowl to bowl. Two pieces from the same box can have different depths of color. If you break one, a replacement will be close but not identical. You will have a set of three that match each other and one that is different. That is part of owning the set.
