Star Coffee Mug Set for 4, set of 4: the description
The glaze on these mugs is darkest near the base and fades to a lighter shade at the rim, where the clay appears through the surface. Each mug in the set carries its own variation of the color and pattern. The surface has a subtle, tactile finish that is pleasant to hold.
The mug is dense and substantial, with a weight that feels good in your hand. You get a full pour of coffee, large enough for a slow morning. The rim is the most vulnerable spot. A sharp knock can leave a small chip, but that is the nature of stoneware. These are mugs for daily use.
