Star Coffee Mug Set of 8, 16 oz: the description
Eight mugs come in the box, one for each place at the table. At 16 oz, each holds a full mug of coffee with room for milk. The Star Collection offers eight glazes, so you can keep the set in one color or split it into two sets of four. The stoneware is dense and sits solid in the hand. It goes from microwave to dishwasher without ceremony.
This is the mug for the first coffee of the day. It holds the heat, so the last sip is still warm. What it does badly is chip. Stoneware is hard, and a hard knock against a sink or counter can take a pale nick out of the rim. The trade is weight: it is not a mug you toss in a bag.
