Venus Stoneware Dinnerware Sets with Pasta Bowls, 24-piece for 6: the description
This set serves six, with a dinner plate, a salad plate, and a pasta bowl for each. When a seventh shows up, you hand them the pasta bowl from your own place and use it as a plate. The bowl is wide and shallow, and it holds a full dinner.
The trade-off is the weight. The stoneware is dense, so each plate sits solid in the hand. But you stack them only two high, because the bottom of the top plate will mark the glaze of the one below. Lift a full stack of six plates with both hands.
