This set takes the same square Ocean plate and bowl that works for a table of four and makes enough for eight. You get eight of each: dinner plate, salad plate, and bowl. The glaze is the same double reactive finish, and the body is the same heavy stoneware. It is a straightforward scaling up, not a different line.

Eight places mean eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, and eight bowls. The bowls are wide and low, good for pasta or a main-course salad. The square plates sit close together on the table, leaving room for serving dishes. The stoneware is heavy in the hand, and the square shape helps the plates nest without spinning.
