Ocean Square Stoneware Dinnerware Set for 4: the description

The square rim of these plates is shallow, the well broad enough for a main course and a side. The shape sits square in the hand, the corners tucking into the grip. The rim catches the glaze dark at the edge, lighter in the flat, the way reactive glaze travels.

The trade-off is the corners. Square plates are harder to nest without a gap, and the rim points are the first place a chip shows. Stack them two high, with a cloth between if you want to protect the glaze. The pack says it is safe in the dishwasher and the microwave.
