Famiware Ocean Square Stoneware Dinnerware Set for 6

A photograph shows the square shape and the deep Ocean blue, but not the heft. Each plate is heavier than it looks. The weight changes how you carry it from counter to table. The corners give your fingers a place to grip, and the flat rim feels different under your thumb than a round plate does.

Stoneware is hard, so the rim will chip if knocked against the sink or another plate. Stack the pieces no more than two high, and expect the unglazed foot ring to leave a faint circle on the plate below. The set is dishwasher and microwave safe, but it asks for a little attention in handling.
