Rimmed dinner plates, 8 and 10 inches across, six to the set. The rim is wide and flat, giving the knife a place to rest. The center well is shallow, broad enough for a full dinner plate of food. The smaller plate works for a salad or a light lunch.

The plates stack evenly, but stoneware chips at the rim. Keep the stack to two high to avoid marks. The smoky blue glaze is dishwasher and microwave safe, so the plate takes the rerun of a Thursday stew without complaint.
