Star Stoneware Dinnerware Set, 12-piece: the description

Pick up a dinner plate. It is heavier than it looks. That weight comes from stoneware fired until the body is dense, with no clay that still absorbs water. Every piece in this twelve-piece set carries that same density: the dinner plates, the salad plates, the bowls. They feel solid in the hand and settled on the table.

Four place settings. The dinner plates have room for a main and a side. The salad plates double for breakfast toast or a dessert. The bowls are deep enough for a proper bowl of soup or a generous pasta serving. The weight keeps the bowl from sliding when you stir. After the meal, into the dishwasher they go. They come out the same.
